Cross Country Clinic 27th April

XC Clinic with Vanessa Connell held at Bonfleur.  There were originally 9 people booked but unfortunately a few people had to drop out at the last minute but we ended up with 2 groups of 3 riders and hopefully all those who went enjoyed themselves.  All the horses seemed to be going well and improved throughout the session.  We hope you like the photos.

SMP Show Jumping Clinic 7th June

What a fantastic afternoon! We were expecting thunder storms but ended up in blazing sunshine. Scott challenged us all with some testing grid work and looking at controlling stride lengths. Everyone found themselves jumping a little bit higher than they thought they could by the end of their sessions, as Scott built up to it throughout the hour so that by the end the height felt less daunting! Everyone who took part has asked for another date so watch this space...

Summer Camp 2014

20 horses and riders took part in this years summer camp and despite the not-so-perfect weather I think everyone had a good time.  The advantage of going to Plumpton is the use of the 2 indoor schools if the weather is wet and this year they were made good use of!

A range of Activities took place including musical rides, TREC obstacles, showjumping, polework, cross country, flatwork, dressage to music and hacking.  Plenty of choice for everyone to find something that they wanted to do.
